Requesting Access
Access to HQ Cloud and HQ Pro is demo-gated: a short demo is the front door. Whether you’re a prospect requesting access or a teammate being invited, you enter the same flow, and access opens once your demo is complete.
The access flow
- Request access. Submit your email and company or team on the request-access page. This creates a pending access request — it is not yet claimable.
- Book a demo. Pick a time on the scheduling page. Your request advances to “demo booked.”
- Get granted. After the demo, an admin grants your access. The invite email is sent and your membership becomes claimable.
- Claim and onboard. Accept the invite, then finish onboarding — install HQ, join your team, run your first sync, and start the beginner training. See Team Onboarding.
A super-admin can grant access directly, without a demo, for internal or expedited cases.
Good to know
- Until access is granted, an account cannot be claimed — the gate blocks the claim with a clear error and no membership is created.
- Existing members and invites are unaffected: they are treated as already granted, so nothing changes for current users.
- Admins can see and act on pending and booked demo requests — and grant or revoke access — from the demo queue.
- A teammate invited by an admin enters the same demo-gated flow rather than receiving an immediately-claimable invite, so everyone arrives through the same front door.
